which is also worth checking out, but from the other artists you mentioned, his solo stuff might be closer to what you're into. He plays acoustic guitar (and small synth), relies heavily on looping and effects, and often will lay down a percussive line by banging on the body of the guitar, looping it, and using that as a rhythmic line, with other stuff played and looped on top of it. (The music is all instrumental, though, if that matters.)
